The Embodied Women — Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions exist to support clarity, respect, and safety for everyone who enters The Embodied Women spaces.

By accessing, booking, or participating in any offering provided by The Embodied Women, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

1. Nature of the Offerings

The Embodied Women offers embodiment-based movement, dance, ritual, and personal development experiences. These offerings are educational and experiential in nature and are not a substitute for medical, psychological, or therapeutic care.

2. Registration & Participation

By enrolling in any offering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information during registration.

  • Participate with self-responsibility, honesty, and awareness.

  • Respect the agreements, guidelines, and boundaries shared within the space.

Participation is always by choice. You may pause, modify, or opt out of any practice at any time.

3. Payment Plans

If you select a payment plan:

  • You agree to complete all scheduled instalments.

  • Your first payment secures your place and is non-refundable.

  • If scheduled payments are not completed, access to the offering may be paused until the balance is settled.

  • Payment plans cannot be cancelled or transferred once the course has commenced.

If unexpected financial difficulty arises, you are welcome to reach out so the situation can be met with clarity and compassion.

4. Refunds, Cancellations & Transfers

Due to the energetic and logistical commitment of our offerings, refunds are not provided once you are registered.

If you are unable to attend, you may request to transfer your booking to another person with prior written approval.

Cancellations do not entitle you to a refund of any payments made.

Missed sessions are not refundable.

If an offering is cancelled by The Embodied Women, you will be offered a credit to use toward a future The Embodied Women offering.

5. Gift Cards

Gift cards are valid for two years from the date of purchase.
They are non-refundable, cannot be exchanged for cash, and may be used partially until expiry.
The Embodied Women is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misused gift card codes.

6. Content Usage & Intellectual Property

All materials including videos, recordings, choreography, meditations, written content, and teachings remain the intellectual property of The Embodied Women.

These materials are for personal use only and may not be copied, recorded, shared, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

7. Personal Responsibility & Health Disclaimer

You are invited to participate with self-awareness, honesty, and care for your own wellbeing.

While every care is taken to hold a supportive and respectful space, participation is undertaken with personal responsibility.

You agree to seek professional medical or psychological support when needed.

8. Respect, Privacy, Confidentiality & Recording

You agree to:

  • Respect the privacy, stories, and experiences of all participants.

  • The Embodied Women may occasionally record or photograph classes and experiences for promotional, educational, and website purposes. Any content shared will always honour the dignity, safety, and privacy of participants. Women are welcome to express if they do not wish to be filmed or photographed, and their wishes will be fully respected.

  • Not record, photograph, or share any personal stories, emotional processes, or moments of vulnerability of others without explicit consent. Filming or photographing general moments of movement, atmosphere, or personal dance for creative or social sharing is welcome, as long as other participants’ privacy is fully respected.

  • Maintain confidentiality of all shared experiences within the group.

If a participant’s behaviour compromises the safety or integrity of the space, The Embodied Women reserves the right to gently and respectfully end their participation.

9. Changes, Growth & Legal Framework

The Embodied Women may gently adjust, update, reschedule, or evolve offerings when needed. Any significant changes will be communicated with care and transparency whenever possible. These Terms & Conditions are guided by the laws of Australia and may be lovingly updated as The Embodied Women grows and evolves. The most current version will always be available on this page.

By accessing this website, booking any offering, or participating in any The Embodied Women experience, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
